That is not right and should be stopped. Everyone should be given an equal chance as they have earned their way towards university and something should be done to stop this.
The fact is that when I go to uni I will only just have enough to live on. I am only able to get the lowest amount because of the high household income that we have, but because the cost of living is so high at home my parents can’t support me much. It would be better if every student was eligible for £8k or so, but with a varying amount of loans and grants according to household incomes. Simple.
this is very sad to hear this; but i will not blame the students. but the government for not providing adequate scheme to help the students
Being a student myself, I do believe that finding jobs in this currect economy we are in at the moment is extremely difficult and I believe that this is very true as sometimes you feel you have no other option. I have handed out so many CV’s and still unable to find a job.
Greater number are still probably quite small numbers but I dont think that anyone should have to sell their bodies like this.
This is not right, no one should sell their body for money especially not when your a student. It shows low self-esteem and no self-respect, absolutely disgusting .
It is pointless to study in the university when you have no ethics and no self respect. If you can sell your body for money…..why wasting time in a University, where you can make a lot of money in the streets……
It is very unusual to university life, but most student don’t have other options to raise fund to their academic fees due to highjack of the tuition fees. Government should please support the needy students financially at the maximum level in other to allowing them to actualize their dreams.
Totally shocked when I read this, I did realise many young people feel cornered with no obvious solution to their money issues, but I absolutely didn’t think that a lack of money would lead young women to act so extremely.
That should not be the result of going to University, everyone should be given an equal chance provided on their results that we all have worked hard to get. The government should not be further increasing student fees and reversing times of education – where in the future only the rich will be able to go to university. It disgusting!
This is very disgusting, something realy serious has to be done to this by the government before it gets out of control.
This is disgraceful, the government need to look into this and take it into account when setting fee’s!!
This is appalling and should show our current government what an impact the increase in tuition fees has on many people
