City University Department of Journalism

In an inconspicuous corner of the 19th century College Building of City University sits the internationally renowned, state of the art Department of Journalism. With two sound-proofed recording studios, an editing suite packed wall to wall with iMacs and a TV studio complete with a robotic camera, the department has the facilities as well as the faculty and alumni to match its reputation as the “Oxbridge of journalism”. Recognising the excellence of the department, OpinionPanel has pledged £1000 a year to be awarded as a scholarship to the most creative student in the department, to help give talented aspiring journalists access to this inspirational environment.
