The Future Panel is a sample of prospective university students.
Members of the panel include year 13, mature and international students who have applied for a place at a UK higher education institution and year 12 pre-applicants who are considering applying.
The nature of the panel means that prospective students who ultimately decide not to apply to HE or not to take-up any offers made are also included.
The Future Panel provides clients with the facility to undertake both quantitative and qualitative research to answer specific questions and target respondents with particular profiles.
A sample of Future Panellists have also been recruited to take part in a longitudinal study. The study will track prospective university students at key points along the decision making journey to investigate when decisions are made about which institutions and courses to apply to/accept offers from and what factors influence how those decisions are made and changed.
