Dion Watts is a philosophy graduate from Durham University, trying to build a career in the world of public policy. After four years as a researcher in the conference and events industry, he gave up this comfortable yet unremarkable career in search of fresh challenges. He is currently working for the National Union of Students in a role bridging his previous events experience with his aspirations in the political sphere. In September 2012, Dion will be studying for an MSc in Public Policy at UCL, after which he hopes to find employment in a policy or advocacy organisation. Dion is interested in opportunities to blog on political issues and current affairs.
