Sam Boyd graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 with a degree in History and Politics. After working as a policy researcher for an MP and a voluntary sector organisation, he spent four months writing, photographing, and volunteering from Mozambique to Uganda in East Africa. He has now returned to the harsh reality of recessionary Britain, jumping between internships and writing for OpinionPanel and elsewhere about politics, society, and young people in the UK.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys taking photographs of music gigs and foreign countries (www.samboyd.co.uk), and watching Crystal Palace FC set the world alight.
