Heres how the Article of the month works

Our Article of the month gives you the chance to get your views heard! Send us a synopsis, and if yours is the best article that month, well send you a cheque for 50 and publish your article. And even if youre a runner up, youll still get a fiver.

Make sure you read the guidelines below before writing in.

1. If you have a view that you would like to share on any area in Higher Education send in a synopsis of between 100 and 200 words to sam@opinionpanel.co.uk.
2. There is no limit to the amount of synopses that any one entrant can submit in any month.
3. You will be sent a confirmation of receipt of your article via email.
4. Every month we will review all the synopses that have been sent in and will then ask the authors of three of them to submit a full article of between 500 and 700 words.
5. We will send a request to you via email with a deadline date should you be chosen to submit a full article.
6. Out of those three articles we will select an ‘Article of the month’ and this will be published on our website at the beginning of every month.
7. The author of the Article of the Month will be notified and will receive a cheque for £50 in addition to having their article published.
8. We will carry out any editing with regards to structure and grammar prior to the Article of the Month being published with as little altering to the distinctive voice of the author as possible.
9. The two runners up will each receive a cheque for £5.
10. Cheques will be sent out soon after that month’s Article of the month is published on our website.
