Mass migration of the student vote!
We've been polling students on their voting intentions since 2004. Our last two waves were at the start of the current election campaign and again after the second Leader Debate. The TV Debates have had a phenomenal impact on students; as many students now support the Lib Dems as the other two main parties combined. Professor Paul Whiteley, co-director of the British Election Survey called it "remarkable". Our data has been covered in The Guardian and Times Higher. Click the chart for our free report.

"How Much More Will Students Pay?"
Tuition fees will be a political hot potato for whoever wins the election. Lord Browne is currently reviewing the options. But we have been investigating the issue for three years. What would happen if tuition fees went up substantially? Would students taking Clinical Medicine degrees be prepared to pay substantially more than those doing, say, Psychology degrees? Would students from poorer family backgrounds be less willing to pay? Could research intensive universities charge a premium? And, if so, by how much? Our report; "How Much More Will Students Pay?" - click here for a free summary, is based on an analysis of interviews with 37,000 new first year students. It was completed with Anna Vignoles, Professor of Education Economics at the Institute of Education in London.
