Plamena Solakova is currently completing her Masters in International Security at the Paris School of International Affairs, with concentrations in Intelligence and Middle Eastern Studies. She received her Bachelor’s degree from London Metropolitan University in 2013 and had previously done Study Abroad programs in the United States and in Spain. She has completed internships at the Bulgarian Embassy in London, the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad in Sofia, and the European Parliament in Brussels as an assistant to Mariya Gabriel MEP. She is currently a scholar of the Kuwait Foundation at Sciences Po in Paris and is working as a Research Assistant at the Henry Jackson Society in London.
